Teresa is a juried member of the Kentucky Guild of Artisans and Craftsman, Berea, Ky., the Kentucky Appalachian Artisan Center, Hindman, Ky., and the Sheltowee Artisans Guild, Somerset, Ky. She is also listed with the Kentucky Artisans Heritage Trail, the ArtistsRegistry.com and 4Culture Registry.com
She offers to anyone her highly crafted and unique stained and fused glass pieces. The majority of her work is of original designs. She is very willing to try to recreate, using her own interpretation, any design that a client may wish to have produced.
Beginning with an idea, she proceeds to draw it out on paper, and using this as a pattern, she then cuts out the glass pieces, grinds them to fit, and then completes the design through a number of different processes.
She is willing to work closely with clients to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Using several different types of glass, Teresa can also meet the needs of the various tastes of clients.
Teresa is also available to do repair work on existing stained glass pieces, as seen with a restored window panel at the Alexander Arthur Museum (Middlesboro, Ky. ), however, some glass may no longer be available for repair or replacement, but will try her very best to match. These requests will have to be assessed on an individual basis.
Some of the items she currently creates are boxes, hummingbird feeders, lamps, picture frames and angels, and now fused glass jewelry. Due to the amount of time required to make some pieces, there may be a waiting period until the project is completed.
